- Choose a ring that fits the exact finger and hand you intend to wear your new ring on.
- Lay it flat and use a millimetre ruler to measure straight across the centre of the inside opening. Measure from inside edge to inside edge, excluding the metal.
- Compare the inside diameter with the chart below. If the measurement is unclear or falls between sizes, contact us for help.
Home measurements are approximate. For engagement rings, wedding bands and made-to-order designs, we recommend confirming your size with a jeweller before ordering.
Australian ring size chart
Australian and UK sizes use letters. This chart shows approximate inside diameters for whole letter sizes; half sizes are also available in some designs. Charts and brand sizing can differ slightly.

Tips for a comfortable fit
- A ring should feel secure at the base of your finger and pass over the knuckle with gentle resistance.
- Temperature can affect finger size. Check when your hands are at a normal, comfortable temperature and repeat at another time.
- Wide bands and several rings worn together can feel tighter than a slim band. Ask us to check the fit for your chosen design.
- Your left and right hands may need different sizes. Measure the finger you plan to wear the ring on.
Pandora and other brand sizes
Some brands use numbers rather than letters. Do not assume a numerical size is a US size or convert it by guesswork. For Pandora, use Pandora’s official ring size guide, or message us with the product and size you are considering. Use the relevant brand’s guidance when selecting its rings.
Buying a surprise gift?
If possible, bring in a ring the recipient wears on the intended finger. Our team can measure it and discuss suitable options with you before you choose.
Can my ring be resized?
Resizing depends on the metal, setting and construction. Some rings cannot be resized, and any available adjustment may be limited. Contact us before purchasing if you need a different size; we will confirm suitability, pricing and timing for the particular ring.
