Afterpay allows eligible customers to receive their purchase now and pay for it in four interest-free payments over six weeks.

Afterpay is available online and in store. Simply select Afterpay during online checkout or use your Afterpay Card when shopping with us in store.

Your available spending amount and approval are determined by Afterpay. For higher-value purchases, we recommend checking your available spending amount in the Afterpay app before purchasing.

Cameron’s Lay-by

Secure it now. Pay over time.

Our flexible lay-by service allows you to reserve your chosen jewellery and make regular payments over time.

Your item will be kept safely for you and can be collected once the balance has been paid in full.

There is no interest or credit application. Lay-bys are arranged directly through our Swan Hill store.

How Lay-by Works

1. Choose your jewellery. Visit Cameron’s Fine Jewellers and select the piece you would like us to reserve.
2. Pay your deposit. A deposit of between 20% and 50% is required.
3. Make regular payments. A payment must be made at least once every fortnight.
4. Collect your purchase. Your jewellery can be collected once the balance has been paid in full.

Lay-by Terms and Conditions

Deposit

A deposit of between 20% and 50% of the purchase price is required when commencing a lay-by. The required deposit may vary depending on the item.

Payment requirements

A payment must be made at least once every fortnight. Lay-bys must be kept active through regular payments.

Multiple missed payments may result in the lay-by being cancelled. Please contact us if you are having difficulty making a payment.

Lay-by period

There is no fixed maximum lay-by period, provided the lay-by remains active and regular fortnightly payments are maintained.

Ownership and collection

All lay-by goods remain the property of Cameron’s Fine Jewellers until the purchase price has been paid in full.

Lay-by items cannot be collected until the full outstanding balance has been paid.

Cancelling a lay-by

You may cancel your lay-by at any time before collecting the item.

Payments made will be refunded, less any applicable cancellation or restocking fee stated in your written agreement.

A cancellation fee of up to 20% may apply. Any fee charged will be limited to Cameron’s Fine Jewellers’ reasonable costs associated with the lay-by and its cancellation.

Custom-made, altered or engraved items

Custom-made, altered, resized or engraved items cannot be returned for a change of mind.

If a lay-by involving one of these items is cancelled, reasonable costs already incurred may be deducted from the refund, as disclosed in the written agreement.

This does not exclude or limit any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Purchase price

The purchase price is fixed when the lay-by commences.

If the item is later reduced or included in a promotion, the original price recorded on the lay-by agreement will continue to apply unless Cameron’s Fine Jewellers agrees otherwise.

Can I take my purchase home immediately?

With Afterpay, eligible customers can receive their purchase immediately. With lay-by, the jewellery remains securely stored until the balance has been paid in full.

How often do I need to make a lay-by payment?

A payment must be made at least once every fortnight to keep your lay-by active.

How long can I have a lay-by?

Our lay-bys do not have a fixed maximum term, provided you continue making regular fortnightly payments.

Can I pay my lay-by off early?

Yes. You are welcome to make additional payments or complete your lay-by earlier.

Is every purchase approved through Afterpay?
